Joe thanks. So does this mean that I became an english teacher in Japan, I could get chocolates from 1. female friends 2. office workers 3. students. 4. other teachers? That would be a lot of chocolates? If you get the chocolates, does this mean you should start thinking about which of these women you can get to the next base with or is it a completely 100% non sexual/friendship thing?

There are different types of chocolates on St Valentines Day. I have lived in Japan before so I know about it.
GIRI CHOCO - OBLIGATION CHOCOLATE - for co workers
HONMEI CHOCO - "Prospective Winner Chocolate" - for special men
TOMO CHOCO - Friend Chocolate - for other female friends
I get a lot of Honmei Choco - because I have a lot of admirers - but that's just me. Other guys usually only get Giri Choco.
